Scope
This policy applies to VPN31's website pages, the signed-in user dashboard and the clients for each platform. VPN31 offers international route subscriptions covering 100+ countries and 230+ routes, with support for Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Third-party sites reached through links on this site are not covered by this policy; those sites handle data under their own terms.
Data we collect and how it is used
Only the information needed to activate subscriptions, keep the service running and troubleshoot problems is collected; nothing unrelated to delivering the service is gathered.
- Account information: the username and password set at sign-up. No email address is required — the system neither asks for one nor stores one; passwords are stored after irreversible processing, so this service cannot read them in plain text.
- Order and billing status: the plan and data packs purchased, the payment method and the order result, used to activate, renew, upgrade and reconcile. Data resets monthly on the activation date; when an upgrade happens mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into the remaining days, and reconciliation requires keeping the corresponding order records.
- Usage totals: total data used and connection start and end times, used for billing and capacity planning; this does not include the content accessed.
- Visit statistics: aggregated information such as page views, referral source and device type, used to find broken links and improve page structure; it is not used to build personal profiles.
No-logs stance
No activity logs is a fixed policy of this service: destinations visited are not stored, connection logs are not kept, and DNS query contents are not recorded.
In practice: no record is kept of which websites a user visits, and no mapping between destinations and accounts is stored; once a session ends, nothing that could be used to reconstruct browsing behaviour is retained; DNS requests are not linked to accounts. Billing and troubleshooting rely only on aggregate data such as total traffic and connection times. To meet payment providers' compliance requirements, order numbers, amounts and payment results are retained within the necessary scope; because no access records are stored, this information contains no browsing history.
Browser local storage
This site uses a small number of cookies and browser local storage for three purposes only: remembering language and interface preferences; keeping users signed in, with the login token held in browser local storage and invalidated after signing out or clearing browser data; and counting page visits. This site does not serve third-party advertising cookies and does not use local storage for cross-site tracking. Cookies and local storage can be cleared in browser settings; after clearing them, users need to sign in again and choose a language again.
Payments and third parties
Subscriptions are paid via Alipay, WeChat and USDT. Payment is completed by the relevant provider; this site does not handle card numbers or full payment credentials and only receives the order number, amount and payment result, which are used to activate the subscription and to verify after-sales requests. Providers process payment information under their own privacy policies. Apart from the payment channels and the infrastructure needed to run the service, this site does not sell or share user data with third parties.
Data retention, deletion and policy updates
Retention periods: account information and order records are kept for as long as the account exists; after closure, all other data is deleted or anonymised, except records required for accounting and dispute handling.
How to request deletion: after signing in, open a ticket in the user dashboard stating which data should be deleted or requesting account closure; once processed, the account can no longer be signed into, and continued use requires a new account.
Policy updates: when this policy changes, the last-updated date at the top of the page is revised at the same time; if the scope of processing changes materially, a notice appears in the user dashboard.
